Yes, I know that cobia hang out year round in the gulf but have they started the big migration back to Florida yet? They were on every rig we went to back in late April but I saw very few in July and August. I hear that it gets pretty good in the gulf in September and October. Now if we can only get the weather to cooperate!

I was about 40 miles out of galveston yesterday, there were still quite a few Cobia around several rigs. Most were undersize, those were the only ones that would bite. The migration should start soon, the beachfront water temp has started dropping.
