Default What do ya'll think
I am trying to figure out what it is going to be like this weekend. Every day the forecast gets a little better and I am trying to make my plans. I want to leave out Sat. afternoon and swordfish but I am not sure if it will be settled enough. What are ya'll thoughts for fishing this weekend.

You are setting your self up for disappointment. Take care of honey do's, watch some good SEC match ups and try again next weekend.

Saturday evening and Sunday offshore forecast...4 foot...which means 5'-6'. That would be 1 miserable trip.

look out for that high pressure swooping down, should be nice weather, but I am afraid that north wind is gonna blow, I need to check the forecast, I had plans as well, and may hold out for next weekend, if it looks good Saturday, I may run out for a quick bite

I still have nitemares from that fall trip I made when a North wind blew 35+ kts. all night long, we barely made it back from that trip, and that was on the Hatteras.

I thought we were gonna roll over atleast a dozen times. if memory serves me correct, when I got back and checked the buoy, it read a SWH of 13.6' STEEP for 4 hours, and we were 75 miles out

5 FEET. PROTECTED WATERS ROUGH.

SUNDAY
NORTHEAST WINDS 15 TO 25 KNOTS BECOMING 15 TO 20 KNOTS
IN THE AFTERNOON. SEAS 3 TO 5 FEET. PROTECTED WATERS ROUGH.

If it blows 25 knots Saturday night, expect atleast 6-8' seas with nice white caps,
