I have a 17' CC and I launch either Orange Beach or Dauphin Island. Both are about 50-55 minute drive from you. I have fished out to the triple rig about 12 miles south of Ft. Morgan many times, the King fishing is usually good there. I don't usually go out further than that in my boat. I find Dauphin Island the better choice for the rigs.
