Default Elf and Lena rigs

Are these rigs far enough out for wahoo, tuna or marlin? Looking for suggestions as to which rigs to troll next week. Thanks!

Bert,
Yes they are as I have caught both tuna and Hoo's there, Also, the biggest shark I have ever caught was at elf, 8-9'er.
I believe Deepwater Millenium is in that General area also. I was inside BP 109 last weekend in Bluewater, only got 1 30# Mahi and a bunch of Rainbow Runners along a beautiful weed line. Going out of Grand Isle this weekend.
I know a lot of the Venice Charter guys are running out of tiger to the west for Tuna,Mahi,Bills.

Tagged a 400 lb. blue and a sail the same day at Lena last year. Caught a white just north of Elf. Caught lots of tuna at both rigs. I have caught more hoo closer in, both Cognac and Amberjack. I always liked to go out South Pass and hit Cognac, Lena, Elf, and finish at 989. Actually, 989 is probably one of my favorite rigs. Good luck - wish I was going!

Thanks for the info Cuda.

Now can someone tell me either the gps coordinatesof these rigs or where I can find them? I must be brain dead because I have googled and searched the net for the coordinates and come up blank. I'm really surprised, you would think they are posted somewhere out there.

Got a Hiltons chart? Look for Amberjack {109} Matterhorn {Elf}. I'll go out to the boat in a little bit and get the #s for you. Also look at this :http://i56.photobucket.com/albums/g1...g?t=1179575746

Please go get a block and rig chart from Walmart, Academy, Venice Marina, Circle K , whatever----everything you could want to know is listed on them. Get a hilton's atlas or something, but you really shouldn't go out there without them.

BTW---you can't economically get to Elf from Tiger pass
