Googled it and found a bad car accident in the area but nothing on a boat accident.....with the amount of traffic in and out of there on the weekend it wouldn't suprise me though.

I think it was the jet Vrs. boat one under the bridge , dont think anyone was hurt bad. We heard it on the VHF while trolling back in .

We did catch some peanut phins out by the Mighty O.

I stopped there at the pass about 2 weeks ago. There were a few jet skiers that were following the charter boats in and were jumping the waves behind the boats. You could tell that there was gonna be an accident waiting to be happened. If the marine polce would have seen it there would either be tickets written up or people arrested for dui.

Well, I hope no one was hurt, but it is a mess in there at times - I heard today that most of jet skis in that area are rentals. Way to go Welder, we caught some "rays" on sand island - that's it.
