Default Deck Hand in Training

I've been quiet the last few weeks but it has been for a good reason. I have been busy.

A quick update as it is still busy busy right now.....

Grand Isle Trout ............ Windy days fishing upper bays and canals on the Barataria Waterway You have to work for your fish and find clean water but we have been running a steady average of about 40 fish. On the calm days the fish are closer to the beach with steady limits coming by mid morning. Preferred bait is croacker but shrimp will do also.

Offshore .............. windy. Loosing a lot of trips to the wind. After sitting out this past week due to the early arrival of the newest deckhand, I am getting reports of blue water in close loaded with dolphin up to 50 pounds.

We will beback at it Wednesday to see if the rips remain in tack.

In the mean time, Say hello to Shelby ................. some things are just meant to make a grown man cry uncontrolllably ....................

Believe it or not, I have tried for the last two months to find infant sized (cajun reboks) I wanted to surprise the wife and have her wearing them when she came out of the nursery. They do not make them. I checked with several suppliers and the smallest that I could find was a child's size 6.
