What will be biting out of Perdido Pass this coming weekend? We typically bottom fish reefs within 20 miles or so and we aren't even that good at that, but since snapper season isn't open I'm wondering what else we could hook into this weekend. Any suggestions?

Bull reds are still outside the pass, use stretch 25s and 30s in hot pink, white/red head, etc. while trolling for cobia. The cobia are showing up pretty good as of last weekend and should get better. Eels and jigs are your best baits...just get in line and follow the parade up and down the beach. You might want to pull a Clark spoon while you look to see if the Spanish are there...I hear the kings are starting to show up as well. Call Mo Fishing tackle store on Canal Road in OB for better advice, Mo is a d@mn good guide and can point you in the right direction. Good luck, Frank
