Default Discounted Detroit boat show tickets??

Nice surprise for me to now there is a Detroit Boat Show in February (recently relocated here). That way I won't miss that much the Miami one
Anyone knows of discounted or free tickets for it? Just checking. Thanks.

Check with some of the local marina's or places that sell boats. Could score you some free tickets there.

That show is something to do in the winter here, it's not even a drop in the bucket to the Miami show.

I have to agree. Although the show has gotten a bit bigger the past few years it's not like it was back in the 70's and 80's when all of Cobo Hall was used for the show along with the Cobo Arena. It would take a full day to see it back then. Now you can see most of the boats in 2 hours or less.

It's definitely not on a par with Miami and I have only seen pictures of the Miami show.

FYI, you can get into the show on Wednesday for free if you bring 5 cans of food with you. I plan to go on Wednesday and Saturday when my son comes down to visit.

Thanks all. Just went today. Nice show. Not at all like Miami but a lot bigger than I expected. Pontoons and ski boats are like 75% of it but they had some nice CC too. My favorite was the Edgewater 262cc. Great design. Also nice surprise to renew my TowBoat US for one third of the FL rate! Gotta be benefits to the short season :-)
