Default Places To Fish In Columbus, OH

Will be in Columbus for a weekend of business but will have a free day. Figured I would pick up a small spinner at Walmart and go fishing.

Any places to go, species to target, places to get a fishing license? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Alum Creek State Park is an option. I have not fished there before.

try where the confluence of the Olentangy and Scioto River's meet. Otherwise, below the dam at Griggs's Reservoir may be productive.
