heated storage/extent of winterization required
I'm putting two 18' boats with outboard engines in a building kept at 45 degrees for the winter, in northern Wisconsin. These boats were previously used and stored in a dry, warm climate, where most people including myself did very little winterization, other than turning the engine over for a moment, putting the outboard upright, and changing the lower unit lube. No fogging or other winterization practice.
I am wondering whether it will now be necessary to do a full winterization, even though the boats are being kept in heated winter storage, due to humidity or other factors. If so, since I have virtually no mechanical experience or aptitude, I wonder if someone can provide or direct me to some good step-by-step information on how to go about fogging and other winterization practices.
Thanks.
