Default Chicago/Lake Michigan Charters

I'm going on a business trip to Chicago around Sept 14th with a co worker and we are thinking about staying an extra day to try some salmon fishing. Our hotel is by the McCormick Center, can anyone refer me to a good Captain.

thanks,
Anthony

Anthony, I don't know if you want to drive 1 hour north of Chicago (Winthrop Harbor, Ill.), but there you'll find Dan Keating/Blue Horizon Sport Fishing/boat cell 847-354-5106. In my opinion he's one of the best fisherman on the great lakes!

Here is one you may want to check out. He is located at burnham harbor which is right by McCormick.

In september you should be right at the height of the king season. If you can you may want to go fish out of waukegan instead of chicago. The fishing is about the same but to get to the fish that time of year outa chicago you have to go 15 to 20 miles whereas out of waukegan you will only have to go 7-10 miles. Less time traveling means more time fishing..
