Indiana Dunes

Hello there!

Interested in heading over to the dunes (from chicago) for the day. I've heard of people doing this, but never did it myself. From what I know, people just anchor their boat off the beach, jump in, and spend the day on the beach.

I can't seem to find a good resource online for boaters and the dunes. Interested if anyone has info / experience they'd like to share?

My boat is a 32 footer...

I appreciate any tips!
