Default Carolina Kid now in Auburn Hills... need a fishing bud?

Well I just moved up to Auburn Hills from Raleigh NC. I graduated in May with a ME degree, and oddly enough found a job up here. Anyways just wondering if anyone needed a fishing partner? I don't have a boat or any of my gear up here, but I can split gas and bring some beer..

To be honest this Great Lake fishing think to me is a little foreign, I'm more of an offshore guy, but I'd like to learn. Also I've been bowfishing a few times, so we can do that too.

Let me know, just trying to make some new friends in the area. Longshot but.. if any fishing ladies see this, hit me up. We can do dinner and maybe a little gigging after, haha.

Thanks
-Ben

Welcome to Michigan. I live a little north of Auburn Hills and work a little south. Congrat's on a job! looks like I have a full boat for the next couple of weeks but I will keep you in mind. Mostly I troll lake Erie for Walleye. Taste great but not a lot of fight. Going to Lake Mi for a week of Salmon fishing in August, lots more fight and still taste good. My son is on his way to Virginia for a potential job (ce).Stay away from Bass pro shop. I have my check direct deposited there. You should check out Great lake anglers . com . You will get more info/interest there

Here's the address of another site you may want to check out, The Michigan Sportsman (http://www.michigan-sportsman.com/index.html). Take a look at the forums section. There's lots of good info and most of the members seem like good guys who are willing to help out. You may be able to find someone looking for a fishing buddy and if you're lucky; real lucky, she may be a hottie.
