4th downtown toledo

heading out at 7:30 am to woodtick then heading towards downtown toledo for the fireworks anyone else planning on comeing up, down, or over to downtown toledo on the 4th ? i ll be with 2 other boats 17' mine 21' my buddies and his other buddie with his 26' er and possibly a lil 16' jet boat if he decides to go out

I did that once and won't likely do it again. You can't throw out an anchor anywhere near the bridge because there is underwater pipes. Trying to keep the boat from drifting into anyone becomes a real PIA, worse if its windy. The City of Toledo police were nothing short of total a-holes harrassing anyone that had their radio up louder than the police thought they should have. I seen them drag a guy off of a boat to take him to shore. We were about 50 yards from the guys boat and we never seen him do anything, he never even raised his voice to the police. Next thing you know he is in handcuffs being dragged out of his boat into the police boat.

i hear you on that.. i had to go up past portside to get it too anchor i drifted about 100yards till it finally bit
