after sitting in the garage since last sept. i finally got the boat out and fired up... over the winter i put a new floor, carpet, all new bellows and another gimbal bearing , and rebuilt the outdrive .. i ran the outdrive in a crate to make sure it was pumping water under its own power as opposed to forceing water with my mufffs on.....
and made sure the kick out switch was working .

if only i could deal with the 44 degree water temp on erie i would be out there but not untill mid may early june .. im just happy its turn key and go now as opposed to the beginning of winter ..

As of 4-18-09 I am in Lake Erie 44 degrees or colder as soon as they let me in at the marina. My first trip in my new to me 2002 Scout Abaco 280. From Saw Mill Creek resort to Put in Bay and then to Cleveland what a day.
