David,
Were you out with Kevin, Steve, Scott, & Mike when they caught these fish over the weekend?

These are the pics my buddies posted of their catch on Ohio Game Fishing. They did catch them slow trolling cranks.

If anyone wants full reports / details on this just google Ohio Game Fishing and go to the Lake Erie reports and there are lots of details.

No I wasn't I'm good friends with Steve and he emailed the pictures to me. Just sharing what is going on out there. I won't give the exact location just general information.

That lake is so Incredible I love it. Will you be there on the weekend of April 17th? I'll be there with Steve and his group. I was there last year and had the best time of my life as well as found out how good that lake really is.

Sounds good! See ya on the 17th at the "Hetfest" at Turtle Creek. We are truly blessed with an incredible fishery here. No real secrets. There were fish caught trolling near D can and also by Cone Reef / B Can and also just out from where the nearshore guys were jigging. I was just surprised to see those pics...no worries and look forward to meeting you at Turtle Creek on the 17th.
Steve

The only thing better I can think of on a dinner plate is Perch but man OH man, I remember we used to catch Walleyes and have them for dinner and whew, they sure make a marvelous meal, especially after you've exhausted all you fish in the freezer from last years fishing trip and now you're coming home with fresh ... Its the only thing that would actually get myself and my buddy Norm out on the lake in those cold weather conditions!

You fellas are doing it...brings back those spring memories with those dark skies and such.....

The Black Sea Bass I catch off the coast of GA remind me a lot of Walleye and are just as tasty...

You fellas would love to hear the scream of a reel when a 60 pound hoo nails your bait while trolling......

David,
Rite know over the reefs in the western basin with ½ once purple hair jigs with a stinger. Some of the fish were caught on hard swim bait some on harness gold is my favorite. It’s hard to say what they will hit on. Some say harnesses are the way to go I take everything.
