looking to get a little info on these riggers to see what they are all about and how they fair against a set of penn 625 fathom masters. I live down on the GOM and was trying to compare the two but most everyone here has penns or cannons and was told that the big johns were known a little more up in your neck of the woods, any info would be greatly appreciated.

Love mine very simple every thing is on the outside. I don't think they are good in the salt. I once took the motor off in 3-5' seas and cleaned it put back on walla it worked ease off maintance. I have the captians pac.
