Default Lake St Clair

Hi,

My dad wants to fish Lake St Clair this year. I have never fished there so I'm hoping to get some advice as to where to go. Looking for info on good places to launch and where to stay. He would like to go up in July. We fish Lake Erie alot as well as Lake Ontario. We have fished for muskies before on inland lakes here in Ohio. We would also like to troll as he is older and doesn't like casting anymore. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

Mark

I've fished it a couple of times. Here's a link that will help you out: http://www.muskie-lures.com/rocketman/index1.htm
I stayed at the Petit Dragon near the Belle River. I usually lauch out of the Deerbrook marina a few miles up the road. Nice facility, ramp and they sell some nice trolling baits. Also launched from the Lakview Marina in Windsor. Good ramp too.

Had a 51 incher last June. Great smallmouth and Walleye fishing too.
