Default What Planer Boards to buy

I'm looking to get a set of planer boards. I will probably run them from the bridge and would like to get 3 lines off each one. Suggestions as to who makes a good one. I would prefer that they collapse for storage if possible.

By far the most popular boards on Lake Erie are made by Amish Outfitters - Capt. Frank Kittrick who also runs Y-Knot Charters.

He makes three different boards. The original redwood boards are excellent and then he has a set of Cypress boards that pull a bit harder, and if you really want some boards that pull hard the composite azak boards are the best. I ran one of the prototype composite boards when he first introduced them and they pull so good I was able to eliminate my forward mast and simply run the planar reels off the back of my T-Top. Check them out here: http://www.amishoutfitters.com/planer.htm If you call and talk to Capt Frank tell him you were referred by Steve - FreeByrd

I've got a pair of Cannon Dual Planer-R-Boards and although I would probably go w/ Byrds suggestion IF I was to replace them they've always preformed well and havefound a "totally inconspicuous" home in my last 2 boats.

Checked out the Amish Outfitters boards and the look to be very good. I'm also looking at Aurora Lites Planer Board or the Big Jon Otter board. Does anyone have experience with those?

I've heard nothing but great things about the otter boards. Buddy of mine said he won't use anything but those. I have to say those amishoutfitter boards looks VERY impressive.
