Hi all. My first post. Very glad to find a forum like this!

Does anyone know of someone who still makes the hand reels that were basically a wood box that housed a Victrola spring motor to wind up the line?

Most of the ones that I remember as a kid were home made and a tiny cottage industry, but was wondering if anyone is familiar with any that are still being built.

I don't think many people use Victrolas anymore, but there are a lot of commercially available handling reels (the modern replacement).

A&S and Riviera are a couple that come to mind.
