I think when I bought them they were $499 + $80 for the extra rod holders, I was hoping I could get at least half of what I paid for the pair. Thanks for the reply.

I have to agree with draggenballs! 25 years with Big Jons and never have seen or heard of any! I repeat ANY broken booms! I run 4 Big Jon electrics and they have provided great service. They tip up! I would not give up that option!

I used Walkers and Vectors. I much prefer the Vectors...if only for the tip-up booms.
