Default Crabbing in the Keys?

Looking for some basic information on Crabbing in the Keys.

We have not heard people talk about crabbing in the keys or notice people crabbing from the bridges and piers when we are down their.

I am pretty sure we have snagged a few when we were fishing, but are there blue crabs in the keys?? If so, are blue crabs from the keys good to eat??

Any information for this rookie appreciated...

Bugbuster - Saw your post in the boating forum. We will definitely give it a try. We will be down in Marathon the last week June. If you will still be there definitely could use a few pointers on how to do "Crabbing in the Keys". Catching and eating a crab and fish dinner right now has me thinking I may have to take off a few days early....

Went again last night and took a new neighbor and showed em how to get er done. They were thick last night. Neighbor and his son got 48 quarts in about an hour. My neighbor on the other side of us in a local, and for a twelve pack of bud, he'll steam them right. I will be here until Aug 2. Would love to meet a tht member and have some fun. Man the wind is howling this morning.
