Default Got looted.

Someone broke in our house and stole one of our Samsung 56" TV's, Garmin GMR404 open array and three or four setups with pinnacle stx rods and Penn 30 international II reels. There was also a Penn senator 9/0 on a pinnacle deep drop rod.

We live in Lantana. No other house in the neighborhood was broken into so I assume whoever it was knew what they were looking for.

If anyone runs across any of his please let me know.

With out power, not sure your cameras would do much. Thats why the looters come out...got to be a moron to try and rip people off with all the security available to us.

I am thinking about a back up battery system.

I feel your pain. We got hit a few weeks ago at 9:30 am on a Monday morning. 3 guys and a girl - none of which seem to be very bright at all. Girl was the getaway driver and was parked a half block away. One guy stood by the street as lookout while 2 guys tried to break in. They wasted several minutes trying to break in to an impact window and then our front doors (also impact rated). Out of frustration, they threw the rock they were using at another window that happened to be mitered tempered glass and it broke. All the noise they made, neighbors pool guy heard it and came out to see what the hell was going on and he saw the lookout guy, made eye contact, lookout shot a text from his phone and took off. The two guys had just climbed in the window, tripped the alarm, got the text and bolted out the pool deck. One ass-hat took my 9 year old sons piggy bank that happened to be sitting next to where they got in. All in all, they took $120 from my son, cost me about $6,500 to repair the windows, doors, and screens they broke. Police are working on it - found the car which had a dealer plate from Delray Beach. They are pretty sure the girl is local but cant find her. I told the police I wish I was home when they did that.....

Good luck and hope LEO catches the ratbags and recovers your stuff. There are few things lower than a looter.

This is an interesting link saying that it is wrong to crack down on looters. I think that looters should face some serious jail time myself or some sort of real punishment.
