Default Miami Show parking advice

Can anyone help with some parking advice? I'll be leaving from our hotel 20 or so miles north of Miami. My plan was to probably park at the Marlins stadium and take a shuttle bus. Is this a good plan or is there any better options? Is it tough to park and how long is the wait for a shuttle? I'll be going Sunday and Monday mornings. Thanks for any help.

Last year the shuttle from the park over to the show was a breeze, early at least. I was on one of the first out since I work the show. Leaving from the show back to the park at show closing was the cluster f**k.....

That might work on the way in. But leaving I'd strongly consider getting an Uber or a taxi if possible. Words cannot describe the cluster F that was the shuttle lines near closing time. Took me two hours from show to downtown hotel.

We did Uber both ways last year. The only way to go.

Also keep in mind that last year the Uber pickup was off-site. By that I mean you had to take a shuttle bus to the parking lot area, where Uber then had a tent set up to get you hooked up with your drivers. You don't just walk out to the street to get picked up by them.

that's exactly how it was, although we walked over. it worked out well enough. Uber in and out.

It's hard to beat valet at Whiskey Joes. Park right at the south show gate and walk right in. No hassle or wait. It seemed like a bargain last year at $50 - probably why it doubled this year. It isn't cheap - but it's damn convenient.

We parked at Marlins stadium last year, arrived at approximately 10:30 a.m. on Saturday and the bus departed maybe 10 minutes later. Once it's full, they roll!
I'll say it was easy on-easy off.
The trip back to Marlins stadium had about a 5 minute delay because of lack of CLEAR signs as you exit via the main entrance. It helps to walk up / forward instead of joining a long line with no idea of the (bus's) destination. Once the attendants know we were going to Marlins, the next bus was sent there.
As with the FLIBS , have a touch of patience. Get there early, leave just before, or 30 minutes after official closing as most of the crowd will be gone by then.

Hey, I take free and easy whenever I can!
Enjoy the show!

Thanks for all the info and advice. Hopefully Sunday and Mon won't be quite as crowded as Fri and Sat. Looking forward to to it.

What does "from the park" mean? What park?

Last year we parked on SW 23rd Road and 1st Ave, just off the 95. From there took uber over (jumped out the car in traffic near the entrance) took all of 5 min. On the way back we got a cab because the cab stand was closer to the entrance. It was easy..

The Marlins Park option seems to be the more affordable one. The lots on Key Biscayne charge $40 and up for parking from what I read in the Boat Show program. The Marlins lot is $10

marlins park.. keeps you out of all the boat show traffic getting to the stadium and its only 10 bucks i think. from there you hop on a bus that drops you off right out front of the show (20-30min bus ride)

I wouldn't listen to anyone's advise from last year since they advertised lots of changes this year. Wait til Sunday to decide what to do, people will post their experiences.

Was there today. Parking not so bad. Good show. Boats are expensive.

I followed Sykes advice and parked on street and Ubered there and back, fairly painless except the 1.5 hour ride from Broward w accident in express lane
