Default Need Help - Pt St Lucie

Hey Guys...I'm from Pa and might be visiting a snow bird buddy in mid Feb who lives close to the river. He is not a fisherman but fishing would be one of my main reasons for visiting. I'm looking at inshore or near shore light tackle and will be wanting to either charter and / or rent a small boat (up to 3 people). I'm guessing that snook or redfish would be target species in that area but don't know for sure. I will be bringing my own gear...6 - 7' M to MH spinning rods paired with 2500 - 4000 series reels. Any info on guides, species available, and specific locations would be greatly appreciated...Thanks.

Thanks guys for the suggestions...I will be making some phone calls. Not too concerned about keeping anything, I would really enjoy just catching some quality inshore fish.
