Those sharks are not exclusive to Sea Crest. They hit all the docks especially when fish are being cleaned. Big Game used to have a shark cage at their docks that you could pay to get a close up encounter with the sharks.

There are often cobia accompanying those sharks. It pays to be prepared 🎣

Those bulls are huge - saw them at BGC beginning of December. Saw what I thought was a cobia, but thought I was seeing things! I'm not crazy - finally some good news!

This group and these Bimini threads in particular, have been an invaluable source of information. It's much appreciated.

We're making our first crossing and headed over on June 23rd departing from Harbour Towne and returning on the 26th. I've added the dates to the calendar.

Im subscribing as well. I hope to make the drive down from pensacola, and then cross and spend a week or two around the abacus. If not this year... maybe the next. Either way, I'm looking forward to see what y'all post and contribute from your trips.

Had a change of plans and now looking at taking the little boat over for the Friday-Saturday window. Anyone else making the run from Miami Friday morning?

We're headed over tomorrow (Friday) morning for some hoos and queens. Staying @ Bluewater - cheap and easy.

Found these guys within eyeshot of Bimini a week ago Thurs-Fri.

Nice haul, that's some fine eats right there. If the weather holds, we'll be at sea crest in an ice blue 22 Competition. Planning to leave haulover around 7am friday morning if you want a buddy boat. Good luck this weekend!
