Well, we decided on the destination for this years Spring fling. Boca Grande,Fl it is. Was there for a day visit about 15 years ago, and it seemed kind of small townish and laid back. Passed thru the area last year but did not go on to the Island. We are not into concrete, high rise and neon so we thought we would give a try. Be there for 10 days last 2 weeks of this month. We are driving since we will be stopping in St Simons Island, Ga for a wedding on the way home, so I will have room for a couple of small rods/rigs. Anybody got any suggestions on the fishing, boating, resturants, local attractions, etc??

I think that is the Tarpon capital of Florida, get a half day charter.

some of the best fishing in florida. a little to early for tarpon, but you'll find everything else you need. just hit the pass or any of the struchtures around the pass, youll be in the fish. good luck.
