Got into some fun stripe bass catching last weekend (sunny) in the bend of the Ogeechee River between Hardwicke and Ft McAllister state park. Used artificial soft plastic shrimp. No weight or cork. Just bouce it along the bottom under some docks for some action. Use medium rod with medium reel with 10 lb test line. Biggest one was 22" and 5 lbs. We released what we caught. We tried every artificial in the tackle box and that was the only one that worked.
