Anyone know of a place to stay (Condo, 2 bdrm) for a long weekend that is boater friendly and reasonably priced $100-$150/nt?

Sandpiper Cove is right on the Pass and has a private boat ramp. You can't leave a trailer there but they will give you recommendations on where you can leave it. Not sure what the current rates are their website is www.sandpipercove.com

Google "Dolphin Point Condo". There are several of these units for rent. It is in the vicinity of Sandpiper Cove and has boat docks but no trailer parking. I have stayed there before and really enjoyed it. It is located at the back part of Destin Harbour but not as far back as Sandpiper Cove.

We enjoyed Pirates Bay condo in Fort Walton beach... Boat slips available and the public boat ramp is about 1 mile away.

It was nice to VISIT Destin Harbor... I'm glad I didn't spend my week elbow-to-elbow in that harbor. From Fort Walton, it's a pleasant boat ride to Destin and East Pass... doesn't take long.

Try www.vrbo.com. Rentals by owners. When you get to Destin go to Holiday Isle. Most of those have docks.
