The Atlanta Boat Show starts on the 11th. Anyone interested in an outing / THT get-together / opportunity to complain about our plight of being landlocked while consuming adult beverages ?
Maybe an evening thing Wed. or Thurs night? The Saturday/Sunday thing is a pain...too many pontoon boat shoppers. (Oh - wait - sorry Bob - I forgot you have one parked at your dock.)
I'm in. Probably will go several days so I'm flexible with date. I may even go on the weekend to get some pontoon boat repair tips! Just look for a place with ice cold Coronas.
I would love to be there, so you guys could give me some tips on striper fishing , but I am going to Reelfoot Lake to "try" to kill some ducks with my Godson. How can I say no to freezing my @ss off?
I really would like to hook-up with ATL guys soon, so you could teach me how to catch the stripers. Have fun and sip a highland for me.
I just got back in town from N. C. Boat show get together sounds good, if I'm in town. I might go down to WPB for the club sailfish tournament. The club usually has it's Jan. meeting at the boat show on that thurs. for the guys that don't go to WPB. We usually meet in one of the rooms. I don't know which one yet. I'll be there on Thurs. if not in Fl. Pick a place to meet and let us know on here. Great idea.
Gonna try to make it from Auburn...classes permitting. Looking foward to meeting the Atlanta gang. Also gonna try to make it since jiminGA is paying for my ticket!!
BTW - have any of you guys seen the TV commercial for the boat show? It is extremely funny! Shows an old guy standing on the beach in a "speedo" I think. Next shot shows 4 babes approaching him and hanging all over him. The camera zooms out and you see his boat anchored off shore.
I have a meeting on the Southside and will head to the show from there...should be there 5-5:30. I vote for meeting somewhere inside the show...we can always move the party to Jocks n Jills after the fact.

I've met Parthery who told me about the THT get together at the boat show and I'd like to meet the rest of you. 6 will be pushing it for me but I'll genuinely try to make it. That sounds like a good time. BTW Brian I stopped by today and cleared that drain line better. When I cut the p-trap out last week it was impacted with grease so I figured the problem was there,( It alomst always is with grease) but there was another blockage further down the line. I cleared it with my cable and it drained great after that. Let me know if you have any other problems but I'm sure that line is clear now.
