Default charter recommendations for Jacksonville/St Augustine

my brother will be coming in July looking for charter recommendations. I tried Robert Johnson and he is always booked. Any help would be appreciated looking to go to the gulf stream. Is it good fishing in July? thanks all

I live in St. Augustine. Try this guy, http://www.reel-deal.com, his name is Paul. I know him personally, he is very nice and runs out of the Conch House in St. Augustine. He is a good bottom fisherman and likes to troll. Tell him, Larry the cop told ya about him. Good Luck

I was going to suggest Robert and the Jody Lynn. IMO he is the best charter out of St. Augustine. He has two boats, so I would keep trying, maybe he had a cancelation.
Otherwise, if Craker's guy doesn't work out, call Tommy at Avid Angler in St. Augustine and I bet he can point you in the right direction.

Don't waste your time at the stream in July unless you like Barracuda.

"21 fathom" about 40 miles offshore is still lively..Pretty good bottom fishing and some trolling even in July...I always seem to catch fish even in July. Plenty of Kingfish around too, while they aren't the best eating they are fun..
