I stayed at the Caribbean Resort every year for the month of July. I would pull my boat at the 2 week mark to do a preventative bottom cleaning. Plenty of room, owner had no issues with it.

I saw a couple posts about Marathon...FYI Tranquillity Bay has no ramp no dockage and no parking for your car let alone a boat n trailer....and the Royal Hawwiian is a dump!!!!

the new Holiday Inn Express is very nice
Capt Pips has all you require as well
Bonefish Bay
Coconut Cay
any of these are worth looking at...

Big Pine Key Fishing Lodge. Nice boat ramp, general store and the cheapest on the water non E fuel in the Keys.

This place is nice but the ramp is only suitable for small flats boats, trailer parking out front only, not the safest.

Bump for an old thread that needs an upgrade. I am planning a trip in june, looking for a fun place for 4 couples, 2 or 3 boats, all 20' or smaller. will need some kind of cabana bar or pool so the females can be entertained while the guys hammer some dolphin. I want the boat as close to the room(house) as possible. I really want to be close to the action of watching the fleet come in and out of bud n marys and sandbar in the area... is a house better or a resort with 3 or 4 rooms close together any better? that way each couple has more privacy when needed??
been to bahamas several times, lucaya and the abacos, but never to the keys with my own boat.

Hit the Looe Key Inn (MM28-ish). Fenced in HUGE lot for on site trailer parking, private ramp on the canal, rooms open right onto the dock, tiki bar with dining, restaurant next door, ice machines, etc. Price is great. Not fancy, but more than worth it.
