Default Stuart Area

Can anyboby tell me about this area. My wife has an interview at the hospital there. We are NC natives and are just a little nervous about the big step. Of course I am interested in the fishing side she is interested in everything else. I did find one web site thet called it the Sailfish Capital of the world.
Thanks for any info,
xfish

The fishing is very good. The stream is about 12 miles out. In shore fishing is also good! Oh....it's a relatively. short hop over to the Bahamas too.

That sounds great. I am mainly an inshore fisherman but that is because the stream is so far for me. I need a neer perfect day to make it out in my 21' seapro. My inshore fishing takes me as far as 15 miles. Looks like I might have to learn some new fishing. What is the best inlet for that area?
Thanks,
xfish

It is a great area to live, lots of water and boats. Of course we had a lot of wild weather this last year as well. We are in Jupiter, just South but spend a lot of time up there. If you get down here, we would be glad to take you to see Stuart Corinthian Yacht Club, which is a really informal group of people who fish, cruise, and party.

By the way, today the weather was in the mid 80's with partly cloudy skies. Went swimming in the ocean this morning before 9 am with a guest from up North.

Thanks for the info and the offer on the club. My wife will be down next week and I will wait untill I see what she thinks.
What do you guys think an avrage apt. will cost me? I am currently leasing a small condo about 1100sq. for $800.00. Will the price be comparable?
Thanks,
xfish

Don't know about housing cost for a rental, but rack storage is running about $12 per foot per month around here.

The hospital has a great cafeteria for breakfast. When I go down there to fish with my brother-in-law we almost always go there for breakfast before we head out. A small plate of eggs, bacon and toast is about $1.50 - $2.50.

Yes we are in NC, we have lived here our whole lives. We did move from Kannapolis to Ayden and part time in Emerald Isle where I fish out of. I had a job change in 01 and now I have a complete carrer change. The wife is finally working after five years of school. She did not go back to school until our son was five. They both started school at the same time.
