Planning a trip to Key West this spring. Will bring my boat (24' Pathfinder). My background is fly fishing and conventional tackle, especially bottom fishing and trolling, are new to me.

Would like to find a mate for 1 or 2 days to go with me on my boat who could show me, in general, the local waters but more importantly, show me how to rig baits for off shore fishing, arrange for the bait, and just generally get me up to speed on using biggeer conventional tackle.

Would hire a guide but I'm assuming they would want to go on their boat and they are probably all booked this time of year.

Open to suggestions and welcome any advice.
