Default ATL Saltwater Sportsman's Club Meeting

To those saltwater fishermen and fisherwomen (fisherpeople?) the Atlanta Saltwater Sportsmand Club is having our monthly meeting tomorrow night, Tuesday 10/11/11, at 7pm. Location is the Holiday Inn Gwinnett Place
1948 Day Drive
Duluth, GA 30096
PH: 770-814-2800

We'll have a guest speaker: Henry Cowen, who is a professional striper guide and an accomplished fly fisherman. Henry is an accomplished fly designer and his trademarked fly patterns are sold nationally through Umpqua Feather Merchants. His patterns are available in the Orvis catalog, as well as Cabela’s, LL Bean, Bass Pro Shops and all fly
shops across the United States that carry Umpqua flies. He is an FFF certified casting instructor. Henry continues to give seminars on salt water fly fishing, as well as fresh
water light tackle and fly fishing for striped bass, hybrids and carp.

Additionally, Christmas Party tickets go on sale at the October club meeting, as well as raffle tickets for the grand prize $500 Bass Pro gift card (limited supply, see newsletter for details). You don't want to miss this meeting. Come meet folks who have common interests in fishing salty water!

Directions to Holiday Inn Gwinnett Place:
Take I-85 North to Exit 103 (Steve Reynolds Blvd)
Left on Steve Reynolds Blvd
Take first right onto Venture Dr NW
Take next right onto Day Dr
Hotel will be on the left
(also accessible via Pleasant Hill Rd)
Meeting Room will be on the right past the bar (of course come early to enjoy a refreshment or two?)

Good meeting last night. I haven't fished Lanier in years but Henry's presentation makes me want to go out in the back yard and try.
