Danny, The invite is always on and we will definately do it! I brought the boat back from Destin 2 weeks ago and am going to Marathon for a week. I will get in touch with you when I'm back and do a little maintenance. I think a rig trip is in order! You had us all worried to the point that we were going to have to go in search of the " Reel Boobs!! " Tell Beth we said hello!

The official photographer of the TN. River Trip gets all the credit!!

Tinman-looking foward to meeting you to sometime soon too, hopefully on the lake. Destin turned out to be a semi-bust. We had planned on going out with Fishermanforlife (GW 228) as a buddy boat out to the nipple for some good bottom fishing and try to troll for mahi, hoos, blackfin...ect. Those winds that came in from that high pressure front made 5-6's all week long. All we could do was troll close for kings and fish the Libertyship for snapper. Final for the week: 4 kings; 1 red snapper. We did have a good time though. (SanDestin has a fun nightlife...
...
BTW we need to all plan a gulf trip. Would love to have a the Georgia crew do something soon down there. (But lets leave the wives at home...I'll bring the Auburn talent!!)

Adam, sounds like the weather sucked, at least you caught a few! I've never caught anything on the couch. A Gulf trip sounds good, but I think the Admiral might have a problem with the Auburn crew! Look forward to seeing you on the lake, and maybe we can put together a trip.

Mike,
Are you going to Marathon with the ASWSC starting on June 10th? I am going to try to get down there for a few days during that time frame. I will be fishing/cruising with Outlaw on his boat. Kathy and I are leaving on Thurs. to go to our condo on Hutchinson Island for a few days and hopefully make a side trip to Marathon.

By the way, if anyone is interested in fishing in the Gulf, the fishing club is fishing in Orange Beach, Al July 19 - 22. My boat is full so somebody else will have to take their boat. The offshore rigs are fairly close as is the aircraft carrier Oriskany that was just sunk last year. The Blue Angels are performing on Sat. July 21. My plan is to fish on Fri. and watch the airshow on Sat. Just thought I'd let ya'll know.

Bo, I have dragged my feet and not joined the ASWSC yet. It was just coincidental that you guys are down there at the same time. I booked these accomadations before I met everyone on the River Cruise. I'll have my phone, give me a call when you get down that way. We are staying in KCB. If you can't get in touch with me, I'm too far out for cell service. Just the way I like it!!

WORD OF CAUTION TO ALL

Be careful going into the West Marine at I 85 & I 285! My son Robby decided to take a summer job there and started last week. He seems to enjoy it and I'm sure it will be a good experience for him. He is only working PT and if you happen into the store when he is there be sure to say hello. Feel free to mess with him if you want - like ask him to help you find a McSmeedy valve or something.

He actually has to work tomorrow (Father's Day) so we may go to the lake today. I will probably stay up there tonight as my Dad and some of the rest of the family are coming up tomorrow.

Mike,

Welcome back! Glad to hear you had a great trip. I have been thinking about another trip down there myself.

I should be around some this weekend. Probably will not get up there until about noon on Saturday and likely stay until Sunday afternoon. Stop by. I'd like to see your boat and hear about yoyr trip.

Bob

Got out for a while today and happened to see Bob at his dock and stopped to say Hi. Thanks for the hospitality Bob and Robbie!! After we left your cove, I saw your buddy with the wooden boat headed to your place. What a beautiful boat!! Thanks again and looking forward to a Lanier get together soon!!

I called on 68, 72 and even tried 16, but no one called back. I did see Scott in the Shamrock, but never caught up to him due to emergency business calls. That old Yammy is TOO loud to talk on the phone and drive!

BTW, when is the next THT get-together?

Boobs, I had both radio's on ( 16 and 68). We were on the lake from 9 a.m. to about 3:30. Mostly on the south end after a morning visit after Bob's. I'm all for another get together as I missed the last lake together. I'm in for anything except a place, ( don't live on the water). Week of July 21 -29 is bad for me, ( Kansas company coming), and everything else is wide open. Anybody else interested??

Mike good to see you today and meet your wife. Walter did come by right after you left. We took the boat for a long ride up the lake to Gainesville Marina. On the way back I saw Scott headed north with Danny chasing right behind. Waved, didn't have radio.

I'm up for another get together. i would be glad to have it at my place again. Maybe a Saturday afternoon / early evening. Just need a couple of dates and I'll 'reserve" the place.

Yeah... saw both Danny and Bob... sorry for the bee line to my dock... one of the daughters had some business to attend to that would not wait... by the time we were finished the heat had gotten the best of the girls. My youngest daughter is two weeks post major surgery and we get about 30 minutes in a cove at best because she still cannot get in the water.... most of the time recently we stay on the house boat at lan mar. (dock 5 Slip 6) It is the blue and white gibson and I have plenty of room for others to tie up if you ever want to visit or just need some AC. Danny, I was in the civic and honked the horn and waved as you got back on the road.

Ok Brian, You're crazy! You know what kind of problem this creates? Now I have to wonder if any boat that comes by the dock is "Double Trouble XXX"

What's next? A 275 with a hardtop and twin 350's? Back to a walkaround? Heck, you haven't had one of those for a couple of months.

Somebody should photoshop all your boats eogether. It would make an impressive raft-up.

Have fun with whatever is next.
