The boat goes in for its recall tomorrow and then I'm going to head up for a ride...I too will likely skip the Sat-Mon festivities.

If anyone wants to try to get a ride in tomorrow afternoon, let me know.

Brian,

Hope to be up there around 4 to 5 if you are still out and about. I'll turn the VHF on when I get up there.

Bug - Stop by if you get a chance. We are located between Young Deer Creek and the Shoal Creek campground. Three finger coves are at the back end of the bay Ours is on the left. The boathouse is tan with a green metal roof.

Bob

I think I'll take my IR up this weekend and assist in stirring up the lake. If you see me hang me a bird. Anybody know what the water level is? Any water under Balus Creek dock?

Bug,

The lake is up pretty good. There should be water under the dock. We will be up in the afternoon on Sat. Call us on 68, if you are around. Our boat is a 21' Contender with blue bottom, Sails Call .

Bob, glad to hear you are ok. What is the address on coorinates for your lake house. I can't remember exactly where it is.

Brian,
If you want to go out with us, call me. You would be welcomed to hang with us.

I was out at both Allatoona and Lanier today....it was a beautiful afternoon.

I was on the way to get the recall taken care of this morning when I had a flat on the trailer. When I went to pump it up I found that the tire had split. I knew there was a reason why I didn't like bias ply trailer tires....that problem will be fixed tomorrow with 4 new Goodyear Marathons.

I may try to get up there at some point on Saturday....if not I will be up on Sunday.

Brian, flat tire sucks! I might try to get out tomorrow afternoon also, if not Sunday morning at daybreak. I will definately give a shout out for anybody listening. I think I will go in search of Bob's " World Famous Boat House". Hope to see some of you guys! Anybody talked to Harv lately? Haven't seen a post from him lately.

I am alive and well. The month of May has been very hectic with golf outings, NYC trip, a graduation, birthday celebrations, attending weddings, and the birth of our first grandchild. I even have a wedding to attend tomorrow night. Nevertheless, it is time now for boating. When I am on the boat this weekend I will keep my VHF on scan so give the Lucky Lud a hail.

I went up saturday to scout the ramp for a sunday launch. Alot of people there and dock was getting pounded by waves from the tubers and jet skis flying around. Pictured me and wife launching 31ftr and having her hold it off the metal dock setting on the water and thought better of it. Like my gel coat scratch free. I think I'll go up later in the week. Sorry I missed you guys, I would have loved the chop down at the dam though.

Was up on Sunday....worst part was the smoke...visibility was not great.

TinManMike was out and we paid the Dockside Grill a visit for lunch. Took a ride past Lud's dock as well as Bob's, but neither of you were around.

Parthery, thanks for stopping by. Let me know on everything else.

Bob, I found the duck but didn't want to wake you up on a Sunday morning at 8:30. I'll give you a yell next time I'm on the water.

Harv, will definately look you up next time out.

Bug, ( Dave), Give me a yell next time you want to put in and I'll be glad to help if you give me a little notice.

I did my list yesterday and snuck up there for a little while today. Needed to make sure that my trailer troubles were finally behind me. Stopped off at Harv's dock for a bit, as well.

The wind was blowing pretty good and it was a little rough out there today....but its still nice to be on the water.

Up there saturday. Not to many people out there as it was overcast and cool. Cruised and did a little tubing.

Adam, I haven't met you yet, but had the pleasure of meeting your parents on the River cruise. Was wondering how the Destin fishing trip turned out for you guys?
