Default Moving Boat To Clearwater, Fl

Hey Guys,
I am moving a 53` Navigator from San Deigo Ca to Clearwater Fl. I am not aware of their regulations regarding Sales Tax or Personnel Property tax. Any info would be helpfully..

As long as you can show that you have registerd the boat and paid sales tax in Ca. then no sales tax will be due. We have no personal property tax or income tax in the State of Florida so you get a skate there too.

How are you getting it here?

You will enjoy Clearwater. Let me know when you arrive. We boat there all spring, summer and fall.

I live just south of CLW (maybe 5 miles). If you have any questions, let me know and I'll be happy to help!

Most of the transit co will not pick up in San Diego. Would have to bring the boat to Ensenada Mexico.
Plus have you ever tried to get a quote from these people!!!

I've use Salt Creek inside Tampa Bay before. They have a good size yard....If for whatever reason they can't do it, they can recommend someone for you i'm sure! (http://saltcreekboatyard.com/). Have you looked into shipping the boat by water? Someone like Dockwise (http://www.yacht-transport.com/) goes up your way, plus there won't be any take apart cost or re-assembly cost.
