Default Big Pine Canal access

OK some help requested! When evaluating canal homes and the associated canal access, How long and how tough is it to navigate out of the Port Pine Heights canal system and what is the contol depth there? Would an 185 center console Edgewater have any trouble? How long is the run out oceanside? to get out to contents?

My inlaws have a place on Gordon rd and their canal is one of the shallowest in that system (about 3-4 ft). I have no problem getting my 22 ft deep V in and out of there. The people that owned the place before them had a 25 ft grady white, so you shouldn't have any problems. It's about a 10 min ride out to the Atlantic side. I had a neighbor go for a ride with me on my first trip out, and he showed where to go and where to stay away from because there is some real shallow water once you get out of the canal.
