Default Sanibel Island/Fort Myers Fishing

Heading down to Fort Myers/Sanibel Island area for 2 weeks and am looking for a good place to fish. I have been to Sanibel pier, FortMyers Beach Pier, the Sanibel Bridge, and Bunge Beach. Trying to find a different area to try or to maybe get a shot at a Tarpon. Anyone have any ideas of different place to fish? Not bringing a boat down so will be fishing from shore. Thanks.

I don't know when you're going down, but I was catching snook last May off the Tween Waters gulf side beach on Captiva Island. Waded out until I was in 2-3 feet of water and cast a white bucktail jig to them. They weren't big, but were a lot of fun.

Tony, I am already a Charter Capt and not looking to learn about how to fish, just looking for a different place to fish from shore. I am on a boat enough already and just want to shore fish a different area.
