Hi I am looking for input I and my family are moving to the melbourne area this year. I am a north east surf fisherman for over 20 years but have never fished florida ( for this I am not pleased). I have a arsenal of lures and equipment I also make surface swimmers and was wondering if these would work in this area, I make a knock off of the origional creek chub surfster and really wonder if these would work. I am attaching pics if possible any feed back would be greatly appreciated along with info on general fishing info like if the surf is worth fishing and inlets please nothing specific I do not want to offend or put anyone on the spot.

Things are different here in FL, the water is clearer, the fish more wary, thus the terminal tackle is different, sebastian inlet is the place to go, south of melbourne, go and watch the locals do it, live bait generally, some throw artificials at different times, use fluoro leader, lots to learn but a great place to do it, the back water around the mangroves is awesome also, some places to wade but a kayak will do....have fun...Mick
