Default Crossing the Okeechobee Waterway

I am planning a trip from Port St Lucie to Ft Myers. any body made that trip and do you have any advice?

The state of Florida as a map/link that show you all the bridges/locks with some info and other linksI have it as a .pdf document, but it's too large to post.

I think the locks are still closed until end of Sept.

Default Okeechobee

When I make that trip I usually stop by Clewiston, and the Clewiston Inn will send their van down to one of the marinas and give you a ride to their Inn. Nice place to eat.

Roland Martin and ?? the other marina are pretty good about letting you tie up there while going to the Inn. I usually fuel up there, so that helps.
