Default Pool route in Florida

I am thinking of buying a pool route in the Venice Florida area.

Good idea or not? Best way to find one? What to beware of?

Default Venice Fl pool svc

The market down here is awash with pool service operators both
established and freelancers .Every week I find cards on my mail box
from pool guys looking for business. Be aware it would be very hard
to grow this type business with current economic conditions.

Things to consider !
why pool svc
why Venice
why is business being sold
it is hotter than hell in summer
do you have any skin problems
last but not least full audit of books
for 5yrs tax returns etc no trust me

Thanks for the reply. My son lives full time in Venice, and he would be the operator.

We came close to making a deal with a small operator who has been losing customers in a slow dribble, but he would not give us a 90 day guarantee, based on a cost per loss, that we would retain his customers.

Your son lives in a lovely city I like Venice.
I have lived in area since mid 70's. Right now
the only growth industry I know of is health care.
The buy yourself a job approach is risky !!
Good Luck
