I am making the crossing from Hillsboro on Aug.2 and returning Aug.9. Looking for buddy boats either way or both ways. Anyone heading over, let me know!

Hi Rich, We're planning on going to Bimini out of Dania Beach from 8/4-8/9. We'll probably be anchoring NE of Cat Cay (about 2.5 mi SW of the Sapona) and checking in customs in N. Bimini by Weeches. We won't know for sure until 8/1 when I can get the latest GS forecasts since we'll be trailering from Pa.. We were just down there in late June and the way over was flat, but the way back was a bit rough with 15k W winds and don't want to make a rough crossing again (2 hours over/5.5 hours ******. Our cruising speed is 23-25k without pushing it if we get flat water. We'll be on a 258 Four Winns Vista, PA3467CD hail Kajka. Let me know if you get a late start due to weather/seas and want hook up for the over or return trips. A buddy boat makes the trip much more relaxing.
