What's going fellas. Pretty new to boating and learning as i go. I am looking into buying a t-top for my key west 2020 cc. Any advice into what to look for and ask for ref. Quality of materials. I understand that certain pipes are weaker than other ones. My question is which one is better. Any advice reference quality or questions i should ask will be very appreciated. Also, if you know any marine shop that sells t-tops in the miami, broward or west palm beach area.

Call Pipewelders in Lauderdale on Route 84. Sometimes they have tops that were made for boats that were never picked up. They make the best.

Call Bluewater Towers in Boynton Beach (561)-369-0686. Ask for Scott and he will be able to build you a top for the boat. They build really nice stuff that you will not have a problems with.

I second what tonyb said. I have a friend who now works at Pipewelders. He also can fabricate anything from aluminum from his home. His product is top quality. He welded me an entire cage, seat stand, and rudder for my airboat from aluminum.

i used action weld in cape coral to do my top. it was worth the drive. 1400$ cheaper than birdsall and a 1st class job.

For the record - I have a Birdsall top that was custom built for my boat and the one problem I had with it was promptly fixed by Birdsall at a time when they had serious problems themselves (shop had no roof and they were on generator power after a major hurricane left them with 3 months worth of repairs to do to their own facility).
