I went with Dixie Marine in South Miami. They were able to get me in it for $19k less than I could buy an identically rigged 2470 Pursuit CC which is what I wanted until I got to drive the Palmetto. So far I can only say that John from Dixie is a very honorable gentleman and I would recommend anyone to contact him for your next Palmetto purchase. The boat is unbelievable and being a live bait fisher man makes me really happy to have a 55 gallon live santuary!

Tight lines all!

Getting busy as heck with the move to Brandon coming up. Looks like I will be closing on the house June 28th or so and trying to prep my town house for sale and sell it. I plan to have the new house painted and carpets (Which were pretty new) steam cleaned before I move in there.

Also working on getting one room set up as a home theater room and debating between a 65" HD set or going with a digital projector.

Miami.
Biscayne Bay is a treasure.
2101 Seaswirl Dual Console kept at a marina.
19’ aluminum Princecraft Side Console kept on a trailer, and used all over Florida. Mostly trailer it from the Keys to the greater Stuart area.
I only buy fishing boats, but I never fish. I just use the boats for cruising.

I now have an address in the Tampa, FL area...which means I am a Floridian once again after 6 years out of state. It is going to be good to be back "at home" where I feel I belong.
Now, I need to really get serious about finding myself a boat!!!

Second generation born in Miami, lived in Keys 77 to 92 now live in Cooper City (Ft Lauderdale burb). Keep the 34 Mainship cruiser in Miami Shores where I can easily access Biscayne Bay and the Keys.
