Everything works, and the boat looks great from 50'. It got too hot and I decided to use it until it cools down again and worry about the cosmetics then. Can't make up my mind if I'm going to try to restore the gel coat or just Awlgrip everything.
The thing I like about her the most is w/ the step hull she likes cruise on the fast side (not Homesite fast) and save gas.

New here and trying to get smart about boats. My wife and I live in Boca but plan to settle in Palm Beach Gardens next year when I retire from the military. I am in Iraq now, but coming back soon. I started looking at boats to buy. I think my mission would be served by a 25-30’ cuddy that would sleep 4 (mid cabin) for weekends on the inter coastal. I am a super newbie and want to ensure I am buying something that actually fits my needs. Would love some help in making that decision from the wise ones on the forum. If you good folks have any questions that I should be asking myself, please feel free to let me know. Here is what I have been looking at on the web……

Sea rays sundancers have caught my eye, considering that style…… I have arbitrarily set my budget at 30K which puts me in the 10 yr older boats.
Masaryktown, ex "Egg capitol of Florida"...settled by a bunch of Czechs in the early 1920's. 45 miles N of Tampa. Great grouper fishing from Hernando Beach if you can handle the long ride out!!
