amelia island/jacksonville fishing help - The Hull Truth

hi

i'm going to amelia island in april. i'd like to do some inshore fishing and i don't know much about the area. i can use some help on what to go for and if anyone can recommend agood guide. any help is much appreciated.

Are you bringing your own boat or are you strictly going to charter? If you are bringing your own what kind of boat do you have? Trout and redfish are always around that area but offshore should be good if you can get out there.

This is a few miles off shore in between Jax and Amelia Island. I am not sure the name. We caught a few Cobia.

That WAS off Amelia, out past the jetties. Unfortunately, they tore it down. It was a great place for cobia and bait.

What!!! They tore down the tower??? It was there last year during the kingfish tournament??

Thats a damn shame...

Dave Borries in Jax in a great guide. He knows the area and is extremely cool.
