I am going down to the Stuart area this week to do some fishing. My boat is down there already and was wondering if anyone has advice on what I should target and the best way to catch. It looks like there is a cold front that is going to be going through on Thursday hopefully it doesnt trun off the fishing. I prefer inshore as I only have a 20' CC.

Fishing turned on today on the flats. Trout have been the most prevalent feeders, but we boated one red and lost two others. Live bait and jerk baits have been working for us lately. Drifting 3 to 5 feet deep on some of the flats should get you some fish. There should be pompano as well in the deeper areas.
