boating group South Florida?

Hi, is there a boating group in South Florida area where boaters get together and meet up on the water for raft ups, lunch, etc? If not.....anyone want to start one? I live in the Pompano Beach/Fort Lauderdale area.

check out raft-up.com or contact Jonathan Parmet jdparmet@gmail.com he is the president of the south florida boaters club. There are around 500 members and they do happy hours, raft-ups etc. Its a fun time.

Here's a link to the Florida Sportsman Southeast Forum. They have a pig roast planned for April at Sandsprit Park to benefit the diver who lost his legs in a boating accident.
